mediageek 11-5-04: Building Mini-FM Transmitters for Art and the Election's Media Impact

On the Nov. 5 edition of the program we feature interviews with people making transmitters and the sounds of radio-art performance from the Radio Access Democracy conference. We also discuss what changes the recent election will bring to the FCC and media reform and policy issues.

The mediageek radioshow is a weekly critical look at our media environment, with a focus on independent media and the people who make it.

mediageek originates Fridays at 5:30 on community radio WEFT (http://www.weft.org) in Champaign, IL, and is also aired on KQRP in Salida, CA and KRFP in Moscow, ID. Noncommercial radio stations and webcasters are invited to air the mediageek radioshow. Please let us know if you air it.
