Scores of protestors took part in the demonstration organized by the residents of the West Bank village of Bil'in, West of Ramallah after receiving information that the construction of the wall will be resumed.

Scores of protestors took part in the demonstration organized by the residents of the West Bank village of Bil'in, West of Ramallah after receiving information that the construction of the wall will be resumed.

A group of young people linked each other with metal boxes forming a human fence to prevent the bulldozers and soldiers of breaking it.

Ester Cohen, an International peace activist who participated in the demonstration and arrested together with another Israeli activist by the Israeli army, was released later said how the protesters tried to stop the Israeli bulldozers.

The Israeli army fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the protestors. The soldiers said the activists failed to leave after being given a five-minute ultimatum.

The Israeli army held two Palestinian protesters. The residents of the village managed to get one of them released after he was severely beaten by the soldiers.
