A large Israeli force invaded the village of Allar near Tulkarem in the West Bank and killed three Palestinians, two of which are claimed to be Islamic Jihad and the third is said to be a member of Alqsa Martyrs bridges.
Troops backed by fifty armored vehicles, surrounded and broke into a house, and opened fire killing two and the third managed to flee the scene. According to an eyewitness Israeli troops chased him to the near by village of Saida where he was killed.
An Israeli military spokesperson claimed that the operation was carried out after receiving intelligence information that the military wing of the Islamic Jihad was planning to attack Israeli targets.
Abu Al-Qassam the spokesman of Islamic Jihad movement in Tulkarem said resistance weapon is legitimate.
"The weapon of the Resistance is legitimate and it should not be hidden as long as the occupation's aggression, the invasion of the cities in the West Bank and the killing of children and civilians continue."
This incident came one day after the Palestinian factions agreed to stop the display of weapons in the Gaza Strip.
