In this program WSQT explores the high probability that the US learned an "unsavory lesson" from the history of alcohol distribution to Native Americans. This is being applied here in DC in gentrification neighborhoods-and where the Mayor wants to build his baseball stadium.

As soon as Europeans discovered the sensitivity of Native Americans to alcohol, this was ruthlessly exploited to disable entire connunities and lay low warriors who would otherwise have driven the invaders into the sea. Disease and firewater were as important as guns to the colonists!
In 1986 this sordid strategy may have appeared again with the introduction of crack cocaine to our cities. That was the year US planes, in defiance of Congress, began flying arms to the Nicaraguan Contras and cocaine back. As crack and armed thugs ravaged our cities, the prison-industrial complex scooped up those young people the drugs and the bullets missed.
Finally, what solutions did the government offer? Hope VI, mass eviction, and "urban renewal!" Since their solution is to remove ALL the previous residents(just like before), it implies that crack is to African-American communities as alcohol was(and IS) to Native American communities and was intended to serve that purpose.
Now we see this still again with the growing scorge of "Tina" or crystal Meth in the Gay community-again, at a time where land held by Gays is targetted to be stolen by others, such as the plans to destroy the Gay enclave in SE to replace it with the baseball stadium.
"Party & Play" truly become "Party and Pay" when the true effects of Tina begin to kick in. Tina, like crack, can turn someone into a walking skeleton in a matter of months. I've seen too many people lately whose only desire is to make money so they can get back out in the streets and score another dose of "Tina!"
Therefore, at WSQT Guerilla Radio, we ask the ruling class to take their Crazy Horse malt liquor(named after a great warrior who never drank!), their crack, and their Tina and stick them right back up their ass where they came from!
