the us government is being criticized for it's attempt to escalate the drug war by approving Plan Colombia. the parliment of the eurpopean union is also criticizing the plan. in a recent resolution they denounce the plan colobia for targetting only drug trafficking and ignoring the social, environmental and economic implications of increased militarization.
