In this segment, WSQT compares military recruiters to sex predators who hunt young people. Considering recent recruiter sex and rape scandals, we do hope they can take the heat!
If you are a parent and you are getting calls from recruiters looking for your kids, tell them to get the hell off your phone and put you on their do-not-call list. Do you want predators in your neighborhood hunting your kids? If not, tell them so!
If you are a young man or woman and you are getting hustled by recruiters, tell them you are not interested in any of the dope they are selling, and to put you on their do-not-call list!
If you have just turned 18, pelase DO NOT register for the draft. One of the things keeping the draft away is a high rate of noncompliance with registration, which raises questions about enforeability. Getting a leg blown off in Iraq, or an arm shot off in Iran, is just too high a price to pay for student aid.
Don't have the grades to get into college? You have even less reason to worry about student aid. If you do have the grades and the intention, many colleges offer alternative student aid for those who refuse to register for war.
Lastly, it is not the people of Iraq who are calling people racist names in the street! No Iraqi ever called me a "faggot," a "Redskin," or any other of those abusive and hateful names.
That shit comes from the cops, the racists, and the landlords right ehre at home-so that's who we need to be fighting, not the people of the Middle East. More people fighting for Bush are not the kind of warriors we need to defend our neighborhoods!
