Rabbi Michael Lerner, co-chair of the Tikkun Community speaks about hate for Bush not transforming into support for Kerry. US foreign policy MUST change, especially with regard to the middle east, espically the Israel/Palestine conflict. Self determination for Palestinians as well as Israelis. He talks about the lack of love in society being as important as the lack of economic means, and the culture of materialsm and selfishness. Proposes a Social Responsibility Amendment to the US Constitution. 11:40

Paul Farmer, a physician on staff at Harvard Medical School and member of Partners in Health, a physician human rights group speaks about his experiences in Haiti, a regime change that has been overlooked. Speaks about Haiti being the only country born of a slave revolt. Says system of Global Aparthied is making us all sick. Equality must be global and universal. Current social order predicated on inequality which requires violence. 10:12

Says that new post 911 sentiment "Never Again" could go in two directions, Never Again for MY people, or Never Again for ANY people. Talks about political struggle being a struggle of wills and the creation of a collective will to resist.

Angela Davis, civil rights movement veteran speaks about the parallells of abuses in Iraq and US prisons and human rights abuses in Latin America. Democracy not based on capitalist corporations. We are all citizens of the globe. 11:29
