March 18th: Currents of Resistance delved into the topic of environmental

health and justice. We heard from Reverend Richard Bright, Associate

Director of the Morehouse School of Medicine‚s Prevention Research Center,

about his pilot study on ground-level ozone pollution in the metro-Atlanta

area. A distinguishing feature of Reverend Bright‚s study was its focus on

Auntie Bees Knees looks at how the war is harming the global economy; Russia's oil industry, arms exports and weapons stockpiles; WTO talks on agriculture in deadlock. 9 minutes 25 seconds.

This documentary won the 2002 Austcare Media Award for best radio documentary or feature. It is looks at the practise of female genital mutilation and what is being done to combat this problem. Length: 15 minutes, includes music.
