Boeing, Ericsson, Lockheed, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon are working on proposals that focus on high technology rather than high fences, but ignoring some of the fundamental problems of immigration.

Almost a week into the Gaza Blitz, protestors are finally getting mobilized to put pressure on Israel to withdraw from Gaza for real. The Embassy protests are going to continue, just as the occupation of Gaza is continuing.

In Mexico, only "tally sheets" shipped with sealed packets of ballonts have actually been counted. The envelopes containing the ballots haven't even been opened.

It has widely been reported that computers counting ballots and making those tally sheets were preprogrammed to give Calderon an advantage over former Mexico City mayor Obrador no matter what, as polls consistantly showed a slight lead for Obrador.
