On Monday, March 27, DC residents protested at the DC home of LA Senator "Meddling" Mary Landrau for her aggressive push to abolish public schools and replace them with charter schools

She is attempting to use both Occupied New Orleans(whose busines class she represents) and Occupied DC as laboratories for a radical experiment on our children.

As lesser means of protest are appearing to be increasingly ineffective, groups such as Empower DC and others have apparently decided that nothing less than taking this to her home would be effective

During Spring Break, hundreds of people travelled to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Hundreds of others travelled to New Orleans to help rebuild neglected parts of the city.

Property Smith is a Toronto resident, one of the many students, activists, and other people from all walks of life who joined the Common Ground Collective's efforts to rebuild parts of New Orleans such as the Lower 9th Ward.
