On December 14th the Israeli Consulate aired the first of a series of Open Journals here at KPFT. Station Management has defended this decision as a way to open dialogue with the larger Jewish community that has not felt welcome at the station for a number of years. A groundswell of listener members have come out against the decision, which included 20-30 people picketing outside the station this past Wednesday as the Consulate's second installment hit the airwaves
