Andrew O'Baoill is our guest to discuss the young community and college radio movement in Ireland. Andrew is a PhD. student at the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois and in the mid-90s he helped to put on the air one of the first college/community radio stations in Ireland, Flirt FM (http://www.flirtfm.nuigalway.ie/) at the University of Galway.

On Sunday December, 12, 2004, an Israeli sniper in Khan Younis refugee camp killed Rana Syiam, 7 years old, while she was sitting at home, eating supper with her family. The Israeli army gave no explanation for the attack.
