Sunday's Fairfax media reports that a lone journalist, Kim Roscoe from NZ's Dominion Post has managed to infiltrate the Australian government's media exclusion zone to find out what's happening on the island of Nauru, 2800km North of Brisbane, where 45 asylum seeers have been on hunger strike since December 10, 2003. Pasaron diez años desde que el primero de enero de 1994, el Ejército Zapatista de Liberacion NacionalEZLN, declaró la guerra al gobierno Mexicano al grito de "Ya BAsta!".

Este grupo rebelde mayoritariamente indígena anunciaba entonces que el Tratado de Libre Comercio de Américadel Norte que iniciaba ese mismo dia, representaba la muerte para la gente pobre y para los pueblos indígenas.
