The latest news of whats going on in Punk Radio:

We are DIY media activists and are apart of a radio activist group called Rebel Radio Networks. We have two stations on the air: The Voice Of The Chaos which airs on Wednesday from: 3pm-3:30pm and on Fridays their is a veriety of music on Fridays from: 3pm-4pm on Shortwave the feq. range of 9451-9689 on 31 Meters. also, check out WJAM Punk Radio which airs from Saturdays 9pm-11pm through the freq. range of 6955-6999 on 48 Meters. All broadcasts times for both station are in U.S. Eastern Time.

On January 13, I had the chance to speak with Yumi about her life, the foreign policy of U.S. government which has run amok, the Japanese reaction to war and occupation in Iraq and Palestine, and the Kucinich campaign.

On Tuesday, January 13, the Santa Barbara Veterans for Peace gave a presentation at the Santa Cruz Library on Arlington West. The main idea of the presentation is for people just like you and me to take a proactive role in getting the truth out to people in a constructive manner, and specifically to build memorials in communities throughout the United States.

On January 6, I interviewed Brent of the DemoCreation Project to learn about his upcoming trip from Santa Cruz to New Hampshire and find out why he decided to travel across the U.S. in a biodiesel-powered bus to promote Dennis Kucinich. The Democreation Project's journey to New Hampshire includes about 20 young activists from Santa Cruz.

An interview on Free Radio Santa Cruz with Lori of Friends of Camillo. Camillo Vivieras is charged with felony assault on an officer and is facing 15 to 40 years in prison if convicted. Charges are stemming from the protests at the RNC in Philadelphia in 2000. Camillo and witnesses to his arrest, say that he is innocent and was assaulted by police. He goes to court in April of 2004.
