On Halloween, HLS protesters returned to the home of Invitrogen executive Janet Lambert, where a Dec 19th police confrontation nearly led to the death of an activist over a cliff.

Police showed up-after maybe 15 minutes, but made more aggressive moves. The cops DID claim that Janet Lambert no longer lived there, but protesters spotted her husband Brett Lambert (that crazy security guard type from Dec 19) inside! False claims that the target has moved are a common ploy at home demos-and none of the neighbors made this claim.

El día miércoles 28 de octubre, Fernando Amezcua, Secretario del Exterior del Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas (SME) visitó la UAM-Xochimilco para informar a la comunidad universitaria del origen, presente y perspectivas de la lucha del SME contra el decreto de extinción que el gobierno declaró el 12 de octubre del presente año.
