The 26th January 2005 conicides with the execution of aboriginal resistance fighter, Dundalee, who was hanged where the Brisbane Post Office now stands in Queen St. On January 26th, (Australia day) 200 people rallied in Roma St and marched to the Post Office for a rememberance ceremony.
Indigenous activists, Lionel Fogherty and Sam Watson spoke about what Dundalee's death means for the indigenous community, and Professor Libby Connors talks about the incidents on that fateful day 150 years ago.
