LaborNews: Information about most of us
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
—Abraham Lincoln
American 16th US president (1861-65), 1809-1865.

Will work for less
Six years ago Johnson was earning more than twice as much money--$29 an hour--at a nuclear power plant in nearby Clinton. Then he got laid off and tumbled into an underworld of low wages and slimmed-down benefits.

This is a speech given by Benjamin Freedman in 1961. Born in 1890, Mr. Freedman was a political insider and was personally acquainted with Bernard Baruch, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Joseph Kennedy, and John F. Kennedy. In this talk, he goes into the history of how the state of Israel came into being, and how wars are manipulated by the elites from a first-person perspective.
In lieu of my regular show on radioactive sandiego, i thought this speech was particularly interesting, educating, insightful, and urgent.
