Hurricane Rita grazed the coast of Mississippi and eastern Louisana this morning and is heading for the coast near the state line at Texas. Dave talks to us about the situation and the local development of real community.

We also talk about the importance of micropower radio in times of crisis, and how the Waveland station is playing an important role in the area.

Rhythms of Resistance is a samba band that plays at demonstrations and direct actions that fall within the broad definition of 'anti-capitalist'. From Prague to Barcelona to Holland to France to good old Blighty, they've been around for a good while now and have spawned various 'sister-bands' throughout Europe and, indeed, the world. We invited them in to the rampART to play back to back with Infernal Noise Brigade. It didn't work out as we'd hoped but still a steaming night!
