Vatnajokull is the biggest non-arctic glacier in the world and its intricate eco-system is endangered by the construction of the giant Karahnjukar dam in the Icelandic Highlands - one of Europe's last surviving wildernesses. The damn will be paid for by the taxpayer and used to only supply power to an aluminium factory. Activists are setting up a summer resistance camp.

Tuesday, April 12, Radio Zapote, a free radio transmitting from the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH) in Mexico City, received word from a school official that they were to be evicted in two weeks.

The news came as a surprise to members of the radio's collective, who, in constant dialog with the school, were only incidentally informed of the intention of eviction.

Firtst part of a show I did at the end of March on cult leader Ayn Rand. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get an Objectivist to interview, but Jeff Walker's book "The Ayn Rand Cult" is featured. Show is about one hour long.

This is the third part of the show I did on April 8, 2005. The subject is English language radio propaganda broadcast from the European Axis states during WWII.
