PITTSBURGH (Reuters) – Police and anti-capitalist protesters clashed at the University of Pittsburgh campus on Friday evening, hours after the Group of 20 summit of rich and developing nations ended.

Police shot "bean bags" filled with rubber pellets to disperse about 40 demonstrators that gathered at a plaza for a "rally against police brutality" organized by Twitter messages.

This is the third broadcast (May 12, 2009) of Be the Media, a program of the alternative radio station Media Redevelopment Action Radio at the Candle Light Media Center in Yongsan, Seoul, South Korea. Be the Media is a radio program project of Korea Indymedia. DJ Dope and Giraffe were MCing this first show. Anyone is invited to participate and contribute to the program. The program was broadcast mostly in English, with a few songs and few things mentioned in Korean. The program starts in Korean language for the first few minutes. It was broadcasted live in Yongsan, Seoul.

He has recently come under fire for mistreatment of prisoners, including the death of Clarence Freeman in custody, as well as using Sheriff department resources to survail the Ibarra brothers, who won a lawsuit against the Sheriff department in 2007 for being beaten and arrested when they took photos of a drug raid in their apartment complex.
